Vocal Alchemy was created by a group of experienced singers who believed that singing together is transformative, and that a welcoming attitude is compatible with making great choral music. Under the direction of Jordan Van Biert since 2008, this large and non-auditioned chorus welcomes adults of all ages and experience levels, from all walks of life, who share a dedication to learning and a desire to make great music. The choir is celebrating 20 seasons of making music.

Chronos Vocal Ensemble is an award-winning 32-voice chamber choir founded in 2013 by Jordan Van Biert. Under his and leadership, and through a process of shared learning and careful preparation, the choir has delivered compelling performances to audiences in Edmonton, and on tours of four provinces and the northwest USA. Chronos has released three successful albums, and regularly gives premieres of new Canadian choral music.

Ante Meridiem is a non-auditioned daytime choir for adults in Edmonton. AM Choir’s members sing for enjoyment, wellness and learning. Under the expert guidance of a professional team of musicians, the four-part mixed ensemble sings a variety of music from classical repertoire to contemporary songs and folk arrangements. Consisting primarily of retired folks, the choir produces two annual concerts and brings music to many seniors’ residences.
